Modern Day Superhero

I was just reading "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki and one of his steps to develop your God-given powers really got to me:
"Heroes make things look easy.  It's the making it look easy that convinces us to want to be just like them."
I am very good at making excuses.  Especially since I suffer from chronic pain and getting anything done (even the simple things) is quite a chore.

I am constantly looking for outside sources of inspiration because my inner reserves have been all dried up.  What would happen if I try to escape from being me and pretend to be a superhero who can suddenly have all the energy in the world and can finish the task for me?

I am going to start today with two simple tasks:
1. Clean my bathroom
2. Order new contacts

These seem like very basic things to most people, but when you've hit rock bottom even the simplest things can bring up a tidal wave of stress that can be quite overbearing.

I'm off to be a superhero.  Did this work for you?  Please reply!
